It is not reproach or blame, only one question: Kifak inta? How are you?
Ziad Rahbani wrote and composed the song in 1991 for his mother, Fairuz, and it became one of the best-loved songs of her later career. Ziad, the composer, playwright and pianist who reshaped Lebanese music, died in 2025.
