El Gouna red carpet, the final nights: the looks
Liquid silver, midnight satin, a 70s throwback and a dress designed by a daughter for her mother.

As El Gouna Film Festival entered its final nights, the red carpet kept delivering, from backless shimmer to sharp tailoring.
The looks

Amina Khalil wore liquid midnight-blue satin with stacked gold, then blush tones and crystal embellishment, and shared the carpet with best friend Enjy Kiwan. Dina El Sherbiny chose a silver fringe gown, Yasmina El Abd went for black once more, and Injy El Mokkaddem wore ruby red to the special screening of Boomah.
Stylist Yasmine Kenawi dressed Jamila Awad in liquid silver with what was called the biggest necklace of the festival, alongside Asmaa Galal, Mayan El-Sayed and Nardine Farag.
A family design
Rogina’s dress had a secret: it was designed by her daughter, Mariam Ashraf Zaki.
Ziad Zaza walked out of the 1970s in leather, curls and flares, and Haya Maraachli became one of the most talked-about faces of the festival. Several of the photographs are by Abdullah Mansour.
