Downtown Cairo by night
From the Egyptian Museum to Talaat Harb Square and Groppi, every corner of Khedival Cairo has a story.

Downtown Cairo’s buildings tell the story of Khedival Cairo, and its streets stay alive until late into the night.

A walk can take in the Egyptian Museum on Tahrir Square, Talaat Harb Square, the famous Groppi café and the passages that run between the old blocks.
Much of the district was laid out in the second half of the 19th century under Khedive Ismail, and its façades remain some of the finest in the city.
