Tesla unveils its new Roadster in Texas
Ten compressed-air thrusters, an inverted ramp and a 0–60 claim of about a second: the sports car was shown near Waco.

Tesla unveiled the new generation of its Roadster on 15 October at an event in Texas, near Waco. The reveal had originally been planned for 1 October but was postponed by two weeks.
In the demonstration, the car used ten compressed-air thrusters to climb an inverted ramp, flip in the air and land again.
Tesla presented the car as accelerating from 0 to 60 miles per hour in about one second, with production planned for 2028. Price and final specifications had not been confirmed.
