Rare photos: Faten Hamama with wounded soldiers of the October War
The Lady of the Arab Screen visited the wounded with the Egyptian Red Crescent, away from the cameras.
Rare archive photographs show Faten Hamama visiting soldiers wounded during the October War.
Known as the Lady of the Arab Screen, she visited and supported them in cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, standing by the soldiers with a smile, a flower and a kind word, far from the cameras.
Hamama, who died in 2015, remains one of the most admired figures in the history of Egyptian cinema.
